“I’m from New Zealand. I was homeless at the beginning of this year, for a month. It wasn’t a long time, but it’s long enough when you have nothing. Since then, I started to appreciate life, even for small things like coffee. I learned to read people better, and to depend on myself always, but I also learned; it’s ok to ask for help. I remember one night, I stayed up the whole night with the last penny I had, coffee after coffee, cigarettes after cigarettes… I started to reflect on myself, ‘What am I gonna do? What am I gonna do…?’ I blame myself. I tried to get food, more than money, that’s more important. Later, it was my luck to be paid, and work for the Iron Beer Festival. It was amazing, and I was able to do my audio stuff, and be on stage. I have been doing stage acting, and I was so much into my music that night. Just before midnight, there was a great crowd of people, it was a crazy happy time with the amazing band, and to be on stage. It was one of the happiest moment in my life.”
