“I remember that time when I was trying to catch the train from Cochi to Goa, we had no tickets, and we made it to the train station just before it was about to leave. It was like a 15 hours train, so we bought a ‘general class ticket’ and tried to upgrade the tickets inside the train. It was of course impossible, you know, the ‘General Class’ in India is only available with 2 cabins, and are filled with squeezed people, really horrible.
So we travelled for 2 hours like this, and then a guy tried to communicate with me in English, he is a really nice guy, and I have never seen such innocent and open-minded man, and he doesn’t hope back on a smile. I don’t know, in my country you will never meet a stranger giving his most biggest and honest smile. This dude tried to find a place to sit for 2 hours, and finally when he found a place, he sat down, and I looked at him and said, ‘Good job man!’ and as soon as I looked at him, he offered me his seat. He struggled for 2 hours in this horrible wagon, and with my mere look at him, he offered it to me. That’s insane, those kind of things really stick on my mind, I am really speechless. That inspires you to change and to give your maximum too.”
