I want to be free

“My parents wants me to get married but I don’t want to. I don’t want to get married ever in my life. Every time I’m meeting a boy whom my parents wants me to get married with, I’d try to make the guy’s family reject me; I put on very short shorts, and when they ask if I know cooking, I’d say, ‘no, no, no…’ things like that. In West of India, it’s considered not nice at the eyes of the parents. Actually, I want to be free, I want to become a doctor, and now I’m studying medical stuffs. My dream is to open, maybe one day, a free clinic for children in a village. In that way, I will be free to take my own decisions, and be the only doctor who doesn’t turn away everyone else.”
