Draw me a Lion

“Humans lie, animals will never lie to you. If they’ve done something wrong, you will know. If they like you, you will know. If they don’t like you, you will know. Humans, they tell you one thing but mean another thing, and that’s just… Animals are honest, and that’s what I like about them. We are stealing their territories, their habitat, so I think it’s kind of a duty to take care of them. Because in a few years from now, if we don’t act, some of them won’t even exist anymore. Our kids or grand kids will never see a lion cause they will all be long gone.

It will all be down to this, ‘Oh, in my younger years, there were lions.’ And the kids will be like, ‘Wait, what is a lion?’ And we will answer, ‘Hmm… check out a book or on the internet.’ How sad would that be? I’m taking care of all the animals here. There are a lot of them that would never be able to survive in the wild.”
